I absoluetly loved this first look. I have Aidan Thomas' "Cemetary Boys" which I haven't gotten around to yet - but after reading this I think I'll shoot that up to the top of my reading pile. Also can we just appreciate the cover of this book and how gorgeous it is? I am very excited to follow Teo on his adventures. I love the trans rep, the talking birds, the Mexican lore and the overall Hunger Games/Percy Jackson vibes the book is giving off. I was hooked from the start and am low-key annoyed that I only had the first 35 pages as I wanted to continue on!
