I love a good background of the gods in the prologue leading into the story. I" love that this is a trans, Mexican, demi-god competition plot and the First Look showed the set up of Teo as a character and the "political" dynamic of this fantasy world. It feels like it may take some time to fully understand the entire branching of characters and their gods past this little blurb.
