Exciting world building from the start

Aiden Thomas is a fantastic storyteller, and they manage to invite the reader into an exciting, mythic world in just the first few pages. I am excited to read a story built in a world of Mexican myths with a main character who I was rooting for on from the start. What an engaging start to a story that feels like a refreshing play on a competition story with high stakes! I can’t wait to read the rest!
