The creation myth that the book begins with immediately intrigues the reader (or at least THIS reader), and makes me want to know so much more about this world. But chapter 1 is what really hooked me-I'm very interested in knowing more about what the Sunbearer trials involve, and Teo's humor and unconventional abilities make me want to read more! Aiden Thomas is a must read author for me, and I honestly believe this might be the best book yet!
