I loved the First Look that I read and was excited when I won an ARC. This was my first time reading a Charlie Donlea book so I didn't know what to expect. His other books are highly recommended so I figured this would be a good one to read too.
The book is about Westmont Preparatory High School and the tragedy that took the lives of several students and nearly took the life of a teacher. The story the police are telling doesn't add up to some and their independent investigation leads to more danger for those involved in the tragedy.
The book starts out with a person reading his journal entry to his therapist. These journal entry parts of the book are very telling and give so many clues throughout the story. The last journal entry reading ties the whole story together and blew my mind.
Charlie Donlea did a great job telling the story of the Westmont Prep tragedy. I like how his books are stand alones but at the end he tells you which books he has written that you can read if you want more background info on certain characters. I will definitely read more of his books.
