I love the style and characters in this unique crime solving series. I devoured this book and couldn’t put it down until I’d read every word. Rory and her partner Lane are called to a prep school in Indiana where the previous year two students had been killed. Officially the case was solved and the suspect attempted suicide. Officially it’s open and shut but the detective on the case asks Rory to see if she can see anything they missed as the other students involved that night begin to kill themselves. Told in alternative perspectives including a plucky true crime podcaster and of course the true murderer it was like solving a puzzle one piece at a time. I highly recommend this thriller.
