This was a highly anticipated read for me. I absolutely love mysteries especially detective novels! I love trying to figure out the whodunit! This was a great detective book! It did not disappoint! I was kept guessing & there were so many twists and turns! I kept wanting to turn the pages and read just “one” more chapter. I loved the characters especially Lane & Rory. They had such a great dynamic. I felt like the characters were complex and well developed and even if you had questions, it was for good reason. Did they do it? Are they trustworthy?
The only negative thing i can say is that i found a few chapters to be a little repetitive while a few were trying to work through something. Seemed they repeated the same things we already knew several times.
Other than that, it was an excellent read!
