The Suicide House blurb sounded so interesting, I used my Bookish First points to make sure I could get a copy. I started it yesterday afternoon and finished it a little after midnight.
I love books about crimes, mystery, school/college settings, etc - so The Suicide House sounded like it would be a good read for me. Well, it certainly was. Seriously, I would rank it as one of the best books I've read all year.
I loved the characters. Rory, Lane and Gus were all rich, full characters full of flaws and strengths. The book had just enough characters that I was able to easily recall the storyline of each person.
I don't give away spoilers. I will say the mystery was so well written that it took me almost til the end of the book to decide who did it - and even then, I wasn't 100% sure. I loved how the format jumped from story past to present to journal readings.
The ending was so satisfying - it wrapped all loose ends neatly. When I finished, I missed the characters and was so happy to see that each has their own other books.
Amazing, amazing, amazing book.
