Despite receiving my copy in the mail at the end of June, I didn’t start reading until the weekend before it was published and proceeded to finish it in a 30-hour window. The Suicide House was engaging, but not convoluted. While mildly predictable, it was an entertaining summer thriller full of prep-school pranks, invitations to an exclusive game, abuse of power, and midnight runs through the woods. Thankfully it didn’t keep me up at night, but kept me turning pages and paired excellently with a glass of wine on the patio. This was the first book I've read by Charlie Donlea, but I would love to read his others as this introduction to Rory Moore left some character development to be desired. Thanks to @KensingtonBooks for my ARC through @Bookishfirst.
