This book has been on my radar for about a month and sounds like something specifically for the true crime/podcast lover in me. From the first sentence, I was captivated. Who is this narrator? Magneto? Seriously, how was he going to kill his brother with two pennies? As our story progressed, I was swiping the pages at a rapid pace. I did feel a slight disconnect with the character and might have given a slight eye roll at the direction I thought the story was going, but then we transitioned into chapter one.

Can I just say how much the game Bloody Mary petrified me as a child? There was a time I carried a flashlight into every mirrored room, just in case the lights went out. Just something to keep in the back of your mind before continuing. It's a beautiful sunny day here and I have almost every light in my house on. Right away, this book gave me the spooky vibes. The tension was palpable and the characters drew me in. Sometimes, I find multiple perspectives annoying. I get so invested in one story that I don't care about anyone else. That was not the case here! I needed to find out more about everyone and could not read fast enough.

This was fantastic and I cannot wait to read the full copy once it's released.
