Grisly murders at a prep school with creepy traditions and a mysterious killer? This one is riiight up my alley. This one keeps you guessing with a good twist at the end. I quite enjoyed the storyline since I have a background in preparatory schools. I think secret societies make for an interesting and intriguing plot. They are often surrounded by mysterious tales with ominous consciences, which is exactly what you’ll get with this book. With short chapters that alternate between main characters, this is a fast read. ⁣⁣⠀

I give this one four stars. I would have given it five stars, but I felt like there were too many wild hare storylines that didn’t really add to the main plot. This is the second book in the series but can be a standalone read. ⁣
