This was an enjoyable book. It flips back and forth between today and the year before to tell the story of what really happened. Creepy old houses in the woods always make for interesting mysteries. The only issue I had is that there are two main characters Rory and Ryder that I was always getting confused as their names were so similar. Requires paying attention. I really liked the use of the podcast and the journal. Setting the story at an elite school was also a good choice. The motive of the murderer and why he was involved was a little shaky but I guess psychopaths do not really make sense anyways.
