I love a good mystery and this one had me saying “just one more chapter” over and over again as the story unfolded.
There were a lot of characters in the book and to start with I did get a little lost trying to keep up with the introduction of new characters and then the return to old ones but as I kept reading they all fell into place and it was speedy reading from there. Forensic reconstructionist Rory Moore and her Partner Psychologist Lane Phillips are returning characters from Charlie Donlea’s novel Some Choose Darkness however the stories are written so that you don’t have to have read the first one to enjoy this one. All in all highly enjoyed this novel. The mystery was revealed at a perfect pace. It was long enough to keep you interested without being so long you want to just skip to the end amd find out what happens so you can DnF it. I liked everything about it.
