I really enjoyed this one. It had all the things I love in a thriller - a fast pace, intringuing relatable characters, and a satisfying ending. I also liked the multiple point of views from several different and likable characters - it always adds to the intrigue of a thriller. One of the characters was a true crime podcaster, and then Rory, an expert in solving cold cases, and her partner, Lane, a psychologist.I loved the relationship between Rory and Lane.
There were lots of twists and turns, which is what kept me turning, wanting to know what would happen next. When I added the book to Goodreads, I realized it is actually the second in the series - two pros to this. One, it reads as a stand alone, and two, I can't wait to go back read the first one. I will also be checking this author's other books, as this was the first book I've read by him. Fans of Sandie Jones, Alex North, and Riley Sager will also enjoy this book.
