Honestly, you wonder how someone like Charlie Donlea can possibly do it again, yet he does, over and over. There's always more than meets the eye with Donlea and I can't wait to figure out what exactly is causing all of these murders.
Add in the elite prep school with a little bit of mystery, because we all know it won't actually be that teacher who was charged that convinced them all to kill themselves or even probably killed a single one, but the person or thing responsible will be right under our nose the entire time. But will it be some actual curse that seems to come true or something more sinister like a person behind it all? I don't know yet. But I love to see the dynamics behind a prep academy, they always fascinate me, as does a good mystery!
I love how Donlea is able to let us gloss over the real suspect in his novels and make us second guess ourselves in the end and I have no doubt this will be the same way. I need to know what happens and I'm curious to see how the detective with autism fits into this case and what his disorder will bring to this situation. There's going to be something there that the average person wouldn't see, but that he does or understands and I've got to know what it is.
