I wasn’t a huge fan of the bright red ivy on the cover...it feels too bold for the mystery the shadow invokes, but it clues me in to what this book might be about as far as an eerie vibe. I thought I’d give this a go. SO glad I did!
While the story is told from multiple perspectives, it remains clear what’s going on and how the characters are connected to one another. The premise is extremely eerie, and leaves so many questions unanswered after the first few chapters. Why were these kids at the house? Who really murdered them? Why are survivors going back and committing suicide?
I love the relevancy of the podcast and America’s fascination with true crime. Adding this to my TBR!
