Oh my goodnesssss... I am on the edge of my seat after that preview. I was hooked from the very first paragraph and can't wait to binge-read this all in a day!! This is perfect if you're a fan of true-crime podcasts like Serial and Up and Vanished. This is what I expected when I read Sadie but delivers better, in my opinion. The best part of the author's writing is that he not only knows how to take you on an emotional journey but he's good at leading your emotional experience. Right when I was getting too creeped out he would switch up the tone. There was even a part where he walks the reader through the feeling of coming back to the real world after being sucked into reading about this case, which is brilliantly relatable at that point of the book and makes you trust the guy. Great job and I can't wait to continue!!
