This started out I interesting but the longer I read the less intrigued I was. I was also confused about why we were following Ryder and Mack when the synopsis said the main characters were Rory and Lane. Now I'm wondering if that is supposed to be a Gilmore Girls reference. Either way, Lane wasn't introduced until chapter 8. Why did it take so long to meet one our main characters? This was not for me.
