Hello darkness - holy cow, this one opened with a bang not a whimper... From the first sentence, I was HOOKED. From the opening paragraphs I would never have guessed where the brothers' story was going, and that quick and easy deception - that happened in so few LINES - is one of the things that intrigues me the most about this book. The excerpt only got better from there. This looks like a fantastically dark and chilling tale full of evil, sleight of hand, and misdirection, and I'm highly interested to read it! The blurb grabbed my attention - the writing sealed the deal. I hope to get a chance to take an early look at this one!
