The author really hooks you in with his first line, "I killed my brother with a penny." Wow. I honestly wanted to know more after reading the first three pages. I tend to lean towards more abstract covers, but this one is fairly nice, although a bit generic. However, I think the writing is really what kept me hooked and reading.
