Dark and Unsettling - Marks of a great thriller

Wow, that opening 'confession' was bone chilling! A boy planning and following through with a cruel plan to murder his brother with the use of a train and a penny. Kids always freak me out in these types of books because kids can be cruel in real life and these moments are believable in the worst of ways. This story kicks off with a powerful hook and I think fans of the genre will love it.
