I thought this had a really compelling opening couple of segments - before the official chapter count started. They were like little flashes of what's to come and they were a great mix of creepy and interesting, exciting but leaving just enough details out to make you want to know more. I also do tend to like novels that utilize some sort of podcast format, I think it makes for a great storytelling vehicle, so I am excited to eventually read more of this.
