From the opening journal entry, the reader is in for a wild ride. The chilling account of the train track murder and the eerie allusion to more tales to come are enough to draw the reader in without once putting the book down.

The Suicide House provides unique voices and perspectives that are unlike other premises that currently fill the suspense market. While there is an abundance of novels situated in prep schools that focus on the atrocities committed solely by teenage girls, we rarely see a story centered around psychologically terrifying teenage boys. The warring podcasters adds an extra element of mystery and excitement and helps drive the story forward.

The story, coupled with the author's command of descriptive, visual language, makes this a compelling read and one that I look forward to finishing!
