I instantly loved Buc's character! She is witty and a good story teller. I appreciate a young, female heroine not being overshown by male characters. I'm curious about what will happen next, especially with the pirate queen mentioned in the summary. The cover art leads me to believe there will be some good swashbuckling fight scenes. Romance? Fighting? Solving a mystery? I need to read it!
