The writing is great, and I like the cover, but the heroine feels too familiar - the cheeky, confident thief I've read about often - and I get totally lost in the intro trying to figure out what happened. I feel like we're entering too late - why has she been arrested? How did she end up surrounded by dead bodies? I would have loved to see that scene and understand better. As it is, I'm a little lost, so I think I'll pass on this one.
