To be quite honest, I don't think I have ever read a pirate themed book; this kind of excites me!
Regarding the cover:
I don't quite see how it is aligned with the synopsis. This worries me a tad! First off, Buc and Eld are no where in sight or even referred to by the cover design. The assumed pirate queen featured on the cover, while undeniably beautiful, looks nothing like a pirate or a queen to me. I am hoping the steel sword has a huge part of the story, otherwise, it being a focal point on the cover and in the title will be futile. Aesthetically, the cover is quite pleasing. I am curious to see how each element ties into the storyline.

Based on the synopsis alone, I can't wait to see how this story unfolds! I do not read fantasy books often, but I tend to LOVE them when I do! I have mostly read sci-fi fantasy, so this one would be different and broaden my reading topics!
