This is a World War 2 story that follows two characters, both trying to stay hidden, in the region of Poland. It feels so intense and so shadowy right from the beginning. The style of writing felt like there was so much boiling under the surface, so much tension between the characters and the way they interacted with those around them. I can’t wait to finish this story.
