There has been a plethora of WWII fictional novels in the last decade, for good reason! Those who fought and survived are older now, and I think it’s important that these kinds of stories stay in the public memory, instead of fading away. This is another example of an aspect of the conflict I wasn’t aware of, and these are exactly the kind of books I want to read!
