Very promising start. Seems true to its time period. I am impressed by the fast pace of the writing style. Suspenseful and thrilling while still having some of the sophisticated, respectful language one would want in a historical fiction novel. The map is also a nice touch. The cover is not very intriguing, I just feel like there are too many books with that type of cover and it could get lost in the shuffle.
