This story starts out being told from the perspective of a young lady in Poland during WWII. She's being brutally questioned by German MPs because a German officer had been shot. They assume she's a freedom fighter. In the next chapter, the perspective flips to a Polish young man. The beginning is shaping up to be an interesting first person narrative of WWII events. I find it to be a very interesting period in history, and these characters are off to an intriguing start. The subject matter is very timely.
