Brutal and Sad that was my first reaction after reading the sneak peak. I adore historical novels they are some of my favorites. Especially those ones where I am not as familiar with the subject matter after reading I Must Betray You about the communist occupation of Romania I don’t know if I have the emotional strength to read another story after that. This does has heartbreaking as it is looks incredible. A girl whose on a mission to find her brother after spending years in Nazi occupied Germany as a prisoner only to learn her brother is actually alive….
