I can't help but think, "Ugh, another ww2 book" when new historical ww2 fiction comes out. At the same time, a lot of recently published books about this time period are amazing--- so I really need to ignore that internal voice that doesn't want to read it. I'm saying this because I initially had the first reaction to this story, but after reading the short intro to it, I'm falling into the second category. This book has a great start and I hope to discover more of the thrills that the book will bring!
