Wow! This book just sucked me in!
Alicia is in a psychiatric hospital after being convicted of killing her husband. Why did she do it? We don’t know, because Alicia hasn’t said a word since it happened. Not. One. Word.
Then we meet Theo, the new psychotherapist who is obsessed with getting Alicia to talk.
The book goes back and forth in time, and we see things from Alicia’s point of view from her diary. We also see things from Theo’s past. These flashbacks give us insights into the characters and their lives before the murder.
Without any spoilers, the last 10% of the book just completely threw me! I did not see that twist!
