Wow! I was a bit skeptical at first thinking that maybe the book had been overhyped, but I was not disappointed at all.
Theo and Alicia are two unique characters and even though you mostly read everything from Alicia's diary you feel for her in the end, evening though she did in fact murder her husband, but for a valid reason.
Building up to the twist you get sprinkled with little hints as to how the twist happened. Despite me getting the twist a little over half-way through the book (before its exposed), it still took my breath away.
Overall the book is a quick read and the writing at no point is overpowering. It is a true page turner.
