I gave this book a 4.5. It was very good and I always love books with surprise endings. The book was easy to pick up and start reading. It had me hooked from the beginning! There were parts of it that I felt were a bit....flat? I'm not sure if that's the right word. Not boring, but not fast-paced either. However, you find out that all these parts are needed at the end. Sometimes when you're reading something, there are missing pieces that you don't even realize are missing... without giving anything away, that's all I can say! The surprise at the end was slightly guessable for me. I didn't know it exactly, but I had somewhat of an idea of something being off about a certain character. But this is just nitpicking. Overall, this was a great book and I would definitely recommend it!
