Thrillers and suspense novels are something that bookstagram “made” me do. I don’t do scary, and I’m terrible at guessing how they end.

My husband is a therapist and so I was intrigued by the premise of The Silent Patient.
Alicia has been convicted of her husband’s murder and is sent to a mental health facility. Theo is Alicia’s psychotherapist and he’s determined to get Alicia to communicate and uncover the mystery of her silence.
I was so engrossed with the writing and the story, and I had a hard time putting this one down. •
