I knew something was up right away when first introduced to the characters. I was correct...something is up! And, it wasn't until the very end...aha! I did like the book, made several incorrect guesses, recognized some uh-oh moments, and still kept reading. I thought that the writing style...too much detail, too much unnecessary information got in the way of the story. Since I was reading on a kindle, I was able to quickly skip through to the best parts. And yes, dear reader, I did figure it out before the ending. The twists and turns will have you navigating, and recalculating your thoughts on who-done-it. The ending although not a complete surprise will still be an added bonus to the reader. I thought the book was a really good read, and I am looking forward to this author's next book. Are there stereotypical scenes - absolutely. Should you keep reading - definitely. (Just a note - keep with the book, it is worth it!)
