This book was absolutely phenomenal (thank you to all who recommended it)! This story is through the perspective of psychotherapist Theo Faber who is working with Alicia. Alicia refuses to speak even years after being convicted of murdering her husband. Through her art, diary entries, and therapy treatments, Theo begins to unfold the mystery of what really happened.
I love how this story kept me guessing until the very end. I was not able to put it down because every chapter ended on a cliff hanger! I also loved how this story had perspectives from two characters: Alicia and Theo. The entire time I was reading this, I went back and forth trying to decide if I Alicia was a victim, the hero, or the antagonist. This is one of my favorites reads this year and I highly recommend everyone read this thriller!
