He thought about leaving her for it when he first found the emails and discovered this affair in the first place. He even consulted with a fellow doctor, and she said without a doubt, Theo should leave his wife. But he can’t see his life without her. Theo gets a job at the mental health facility that Alicia is imprisoned, and she becomes his patient.
Theo is so good at his job, so good with Alicia, he gets her to communicate with him, but he doesn’t believe what she is telling him. This book is pretty good, and then we get to the last handful of pages, and BAM! Never saw any of that coming. It was just such a strong end, and is very well written, and makes sense with the rest of the story, it is just nothing at all what I was thinking could or would happen. This is a great read, a must read!
