This was a very anticipated book for me. The beginning was incredibly slow for me. I eventually got fully immersed in the book. I could not put it down. I was on the edge of my seat, especially with interactions between Alicia, regardless of who it was. One third of this book was excellent. The ending ruined it for me. Not only was it a bit vague, the twist somewhat came out of nowhere and was ridiculous to me. It was not something I guessed. I also believe the resolution with Alicia was incredibly abrupt. There was a huge buildup and I was just let down. As someone who reads their fair share of thrillers this was a miss for me but I would recommend this book to someone who is not as involved in the thriller genre.
