So, so, so, so good; 3-hour read.
oh wow. i powered through the book; read it in a day. thought i would get some things down while it's still fresh. throughout the entire book, i had some suspicions about what had truly happened. but nothing could have ever prepared me for the truth. honestly i was so blown away and that twist was so shocking. i haven't read a book that's kept me that on edge in quite a while.
i also thought that alex michaelides did an amazing job with the character development and writing style. the character development was very pronounced, in my mind at least. i thought that the progression of non-verbal to verbal for the main character was just amazing, and really aided in telling the story well. i honestly just loved everything about the book.
one of my new favorites. 5 out of 5 stars.
