I bought into the hype and was super excited for this book.
But, after reading it, I was a little let down.
I didn’t feel like it was a freak me out page turner at all. Maybe cause I went in expecting that, is why I was disappointed.
That being said, it ended well for me.
The first half of the book I found myself having to push through it and make myself read it. It drug on. It wasn’t overly captivating or engrossing to me. I came close to abandoning it a couple times. I did make myself continue reading though.
The second part of the book started to pick up in pace and became a little more enjoyable for me. I was able to stick through it without any problems and did enjoy the ending though.
It’s not one I’d say rush out and grab, but if you have it, it’s a decent read.
