When I first saw this book, I was intrigued. I was so excited to win a copy. I love a good suspense and thriller. I haven't found a good thriller/suspense that I coulnd't put down in a while. With The Silent Patient, I found what I was looking for. I read this in less that 24 hours. What seems to be a physiological thriller, turns into something more! It took me awhile to feel something wasn't quite right. I had ideas of what was going on and then wasn't sure. This story takes a turn and I actually let out an "Oh My Gracious" right then and there! This author took a typical thriller and turned it into something much more. Definitely look forward to more from Alex Michaelides. Highly recommend!
