I got this book after a few months it was published and it did not disappoint. This book is the very definition of a page-turner. From the very beginning I was taken by the writing of Alex Michaelides. I am really surprised that this is a debut novel, it does not feel like it at all.
I don't want to go into details of the plot but definitely it was a big twist for me. And of course you find many books with twists and surprises but with this one I just felt like it was different because it's not like it comes out of nowhere, the author was giving us the clues but I just did not put them together soon enough!!
Overall I really enjoyed the way he kept me guessing and I was completely hooked on this story. Bottom line, if you enjoy psychological thrillers, you MUST get your hands on a copy of The Silent Patient, I totally recommend it.
