Oh my gosh! You know a book is good when your life gets put on hold! That is one of my 5 star criterium! This is a debut novel, however does not read like one. This follows Alicia Berenson, a painter who is charged for shooting and killing her husband. After this event she stops speaking. Years later a psychotherapist works with her and is determined to get her to talk and explain what happened . This is a very spellbinding thriller that messes with the psyche. I enjoyed this so much! I didn't see the twist coming until the page of... This was an engaging and suspensful character study with an engrossing plot. I could not put it down! I was so thankful that dinner was in the crockpot for the evening before I started page 1! I finished this in a day and have already lent it to a friend. Happy Reading!
