I have only read the sneak peek of this book. The fist couple of chapters drew me in quickly. At first I thought this would be mostly about the crime and opening story line, but it seems to be more about human psyche and mental illness overall. I am a counselor and know I will enjoy how this books develops and how the healing process goes. We usually hear about the mental health of the character in trouble, but I like how this book is going to unravel the mental health of the phychiatrist as well. This book seems to be a bit different than what I have been reading lately and I'm really excited to find out more about both our narrator and the mystery of the crime that will unfold. 20 pages in and I'm hooked!!
