I really liked this book. I received it as an arc and it was very well put together. It even came with a newspaper clipping about the murderer of a photographer who had been killed by his wife. Supposedly. I jumped into the book kind of thinking already, that the wife was the bad guy. I mean her paintings were weird and it just seemed off like she was already on the verge of a mental breakdown anyway. However, I did not expect the ending. I mean who would think that someone who you are supposed to put your trust in, completely turns out to be a creep. I mean even inside the asylum something seemed odd. I expected any minute for her to remember that she was in deed the one who killed her husband and to be devastated by it. That didn’t happen and the ending had me hung for sure! Very well written and thought out.
