WOW!! YES!! It was so good. This one was recommended to me by a friend a while ago and then it just kept popping up everywhere so I took it as a sign I should read it.
The story follows a psychotherapist named Theo who is fascinated with treating a patient named Alicia who has gone silent after being charged with murdering her husband. He is trying to treat her through therapy to get her talking again. Before she was admitted to the mental hospital where Theo works, she was a famous artist. The story also follows Theo’s personal life and his tribulations.
The twist in this one was really good. I could tell something was up but couldn’t figure it out and normally I’m pretty good at that. I was in a reading slump and this one totally cured me!
