I was introduced to The Silent Patient and it’s author when Book of the Month club debuted it in January of 2019. The synopsis had me immediately and I could not wait to read this book. It was a very fast read and kept my attention the whole time. There was a lot going on that was very confusing and really I was left with more questions than answers. The first part of the book I felt really gave a lot of detail and took a while to build up to anything actually happening. When we got to the end it seemed incredibly rushed and just ended pretty quickly. There was some time hoping that didn’t quite line up and it just felt very thrown together to end it. The plot was good and I do like the premise a lot I guess I just wanted more depth.
