This book is about a woman who gets convicted of shooting her husband to death and then not speaking at all after. She gets sent to an institution where people are trying to get her to speak about what happened but have not been able to do it. Here comes this therapist who transfers there to be able to work with her because he believes that he will be the one to get her to speak. The story then unfolds from there.
I would recommend this book because it was very fast paced. I was able to get through it very quickly. The plot twist was also something that I did not see coming. Unfortunately, there were just many things that did not add up for me, mainly the ending. What happened with "the silent patient" at the end just seemed very unrealistic.
